Where the Statue Is Located
The Statue of Hachikō can be found directly outside the station plaza near Shibuya Crossing. The developers clearly based the location on the real-world Hachikō statue in Tokyo, so if you know the real landmark, the in-game version feels very familiar.
When you arrive at Shibuya Crossing, head toward the pedestrian plaza beside the main station entrance. The statue itself is fairly small compared to the size of most cars in the game, so it does not immediately stand out from the street.
A useful trick is to look for a group of pedestrian NPCs gathered together in a small circle. That crowd is usually the easiest way to spot the statue from a distance.
Best Way to Reach It
Driving directly through the crossing can get messy because of traffic and narrow streets nearby. I found it easier to approach from one of the side roads and slowly enter the plaza area instead of speeding through the center intersection.
Once you are close enough, pull your car near the curb facing the pedestrian area. You do not need to drive directly into the crowd. Just park nearby so the statue is visible once Photo Mode is open.
How to Take the Photo
After parking near the plaza:
Open Photo Mode by pressing Up on the D-pad or P on keyboard.
Move the camera away from your vehicle.
Aim the camera toward the pedestrian crowd in the center of the plaza.
Zoom in slightly until the bronze dog statue is clearly visible.
Take the picture to register the location.
The game should immediately count it toward your Discover Japan progression once the statue is properly framed.
Why Players Miss This Spot
A lot of players miss the Hachikō statue the first time because they expect a large landmark or obvious marker. In reality, it is a relatively small object placed in a busy urban environment full of signs, lights, and pedestrians.
Unlike temples, towers, or mountain landmarks in Forza Horizon 6, this collectible is more about careful observation than exploration. The crowd standing around the statue is honestly more noticeable than the statue itself.
The Statue of Hachikō is one of the cooler cultural references hidden in Forza Horizon 6. Even though it is a simple photo objective, it adds some personality to the Tokyo City section of the map and makes the Discover Japan challenges feel more authentic.
