Core Gear Upgrade Systems
Enhancement
Enhancement stones increase the base stats of your equipment. Every item has a safety level: enhancements up to +10 are 100% successful. After that, failures can occur, but your gear isn’t destroyed, and each failure actually increases the chance of success on the next attempt.
Breakthrough
Once your Gold (Unique) gear hits max enhancement, breakthrough stones give you five extra stages of power. This is where your gear starts to shine in late-game content.
Resource Recycling
Old gear isn’t wasted. You can extract enhancement stones from previously used items, but this costs Kinah. Smart recycling lets you invest in your best gear without endlessly grinding for new materials.
Syncing & Soul Binding
This system is critical for optimizing your stats. Syncing lets you replace unwanted stats on a piece of Unique gear by sacrificing another Unique item. Through repeated syncing, you can hunt for Best-in-Slot (BiS) stats, like high Attack Power on weapons or Combat Speed on gloves.
Stones & Engraving
Mana and Spirit Stones: Socket these into gear for extra stats. Higher-grade stones grant stronger boosts.
Godstones & Soul Engraving: Gained through Transcendence, these provide unique combat effects. They can be upgraded using "Books of Souls" from Shugo events or exchange shops, further increasing your Combat Power (CP).

Upgrade Priority
Weapon first: Increases your combat efficiency the fastest.
Armor next: Provides durability and survivability.
Accessories last: Fine-tune stats after core power is solid.
Hit Level 45 Milestone
Reaching the level cap shifts your focus from leveling gear to reaching around 2400 Gear Score (GS). This ensures your character can handle late-game dungeons and PvP effectively.
Gold Gear Farming
Fire Temple in Expedition mode is ideal. With roughly a 40% drop rate for Gold items, it’s efficient for gathering pieces to use in Syncing. Focus on farming this content with an eye toward upgrading your weapon first.
Transcendence
Skipping Transcendence is a mistake. Not only does it significantly increase CP, but it also teaches class mechanics and provides Soul Engravings for further optimization.
Alt Army Strategy
Running multiple characters daily is key. Funnel all drops, materials, and Aion kinah from your alts to your main. This bypasses the standard grind limits and accelerates your progression.
